Contests are a great way to get customers involved. For example, Starbucks ran a White Cup Contest where they asked customers to decorate a Starbucks cup, snap a pic and submit the design via social media. They received about 4,000 entries in a three-week period! Starbucks got great publicity and gave back to its customers. A win for all.
