In his youth Tom could ride a bicycle so fast that a professional cycling career was a viable option. We’re just glad he chose a 10 + year career building a multi-billion dollar online business at Verizon where he managed programs geared toward revenue and service. We can report however that he hasn’t lost the zeal for speed, something we plan to ride to the front of the customer experience world.
Founder & Chief Evangelist
If you’ve met Rich Baker then you’ve probably heard his view of technology. “It has to be fast, be simple, and just work, every time.” We’re not sure if this conviction was born while pursuing his PhD from Stanford, on the faculty at UCLA, as CTO at PictureTel or on the day he started Glance. Regardless, as Founder and CTO, he has driven his vision into every aspect of our business and our customers’ lives.
Chief Technology Officer
Ed loves to build cool stuff, like the fleet of fixed gear bikes that he rides to the office every day. His career commute began on the campus of MIT and lead him through some of the hottest start-ups in Boston. A visionary in online collaborative platforms like those he delivered at ON Technology, Ed’s genius is demonstrated through the remarkable Glance user experience and the list of patents to his name.
Race dragon boats? Sandy does, leading The Wellness Warriors, an organization she formed for cancer survivors – self included. We’re not sure where she got her tenacity to win, maybe the Bentley MBA program or throughout her illustrious career that includes, amongst others, IBM. However, we do know there’s a saying amongst her crew that’s clearly spilled over into her leadership skills – “Power to the finish!”

Blending technical chops, operational experience, and business leadership, Craig leads partner relationships for Glance. But this isn’t his first dip into the swiftly-flowing tech world. After six years working for a Fortune 100 company, Craig cut his teeth in the tech startup arena by leading sales teams and developing a Professional Services practices at a regional solutions provider. Later, Craig led a venture which was eventually sold to a 900 pound gorilla in X86 Virtualization. His customer-centric compass then led him to additional entrepreneurial experiences with Vartopia and SimpliVity. When Craig is not focused on delivering customer-centric business outcomes, you can find him on the saltwater off New Hampshire’s Seacoast or skinning up any number of backcountry venues in New Hampshire’s White Mountains.
Clyde is an avid cyclist – he and his family mountain bike together and occasionally race cyclocross. He also coaches the local high school mountain bike team. When there’s too much snow to ride his bike, he skis telemark in the backcountry of the white and green mountains.
Before coming to work at Glance, Clyde was VP of Sales and Marketing at Trovo, where he lead the introduction of the Trovo data analytics platform into large financial services organizations. Before Trovo, Clyde co-founded StreamStep, an early leader in DevOps software, which was acquired by BMC Software in 2011. The StreamStep product has been adopted by several Fortune 100 banks in North America and Europe. Prior to StreamStep, Clyde held several Product Management positions in enterprise software. He also co-founded the configuration management company, mValent, which was acquired by Oracle in 2008.
Running fast. That’s something that Jo Klos understands. As an elite competitor, her mile time was 5 minutes and change. Heading up support, servicing a worldwide customer base of more than 3000 logos, you need to keep pace. One of the original Glancers, Jo knows everything and everyone, and if they could all ask for her by name, they would. She’s responsible for onboarding, support, and training, and in it for the long run.
